Our newest addition to our home

Meet Bentley, our 3 and a half month old Bull mastiff puppy. I don't excalty remember when the final decision was made to add him to our family. But before I knew we were driving to met the Breeder and out our deposit down..

Potty training still a very big issue..Ugh. hes a great big teddy bear and LOVES attention from all of us. Milo has gone in and out of "moods" since adding Bentley to the family. Hopefully with time this will get easier.

We absolutely love having him!

Imagination..Its a good thing

Today being Sunday we all were home together for once, no football stuff, no school stuff and no errand's to run. Just a good wholesome Sunday at home with us 4 and the our two dogs.

The weather outside today could not have been More perfect. Mid 70"s no wind and pure blue sky. Which lead Kyle outdoors alot today. I was roaming and just doing the usual "day before the craziness of our schedules" begins again..and peeked outside to check on him to find him in pure army Imagination heaven..he was completely in his own world..i took the opportunity to take some photo's of him.

Kyle just turned 9 this past July. Hes in 4th grade and already has accomplished alot this year. It seems crazy to say but we only have one more year after this before my "baby" starts Middle School. My plan is to capture moments like these as often as either of kids will allow me to.

A day full of basketball

Chase was asked by a Friend of ours to fill on on the blue crush basketball team which is one of the better team's to be on in Williamson county..so of course we jumped at the chance by saying "when and where"..

The day consisted of 3 tournament games about an hour away from where we live. it pretty well took our entire day..but worth it in so many ways. Chase decided after the basketball season ended for middle school and Football began that his main focus over the summer was to be designated for Football only. Truthfully just keeping up with that schedule alone is going to be challenging in so many ways that we didn't have time to fit him in on a summer basketball team. But just being back in the bleachers watching him play made us miss it that much more..i think if i had to choose which sport id rather see him play hands down basketball would be my pick..if only he felt that way we would all be good.

School is over for the year and he is now a freshman in high school. these next few years for chase and us will be very demanding . I am in the process of trying to go down to working part time so i can be available to him more often. And yes his schedule does need that..

A Belly full of butterflies and a birthday party.

So this is Preston...kyles school buddy...kyle was invited to his birthday party a few days ago..and has been FULL of excitement for this big day ALL week! anyhow, you would think it was Christmas..that shows giggly he was about this party..as i was driving him over there it was so cute i couldn't help staring at him..he was literally on the edge of his seat all smiles..and I mean you could see almost every tooth in his mouth.. and then as we pulled up Preston was waiting at the door for his arrivals..i barely stopped the car and kyle opens the car door jumps out forgets to close his door and leaves the gift on the seat...i just laughed and let him go and quietly giggled to my self as walked the gift up to the house..he made it clear a few days that he would really rather me not stay with him at "this one" and i again just smiled to my self realizing that as I did with Chase years ago..i have to let him be more independent at some point and I guess we've reached that page.. (sigh)
