Conclusion of 2010 Cowboys Football

Well, this was our final game tonight.

We were defeated but our boys played well, considering what they were up against..we had alot of injuries last night, i think almost 7-8 of our players got hurt and one sent to the hospital with which was confirmed a concussion! UGH..thankfully chase was not one of the 8 kids who were hurt..

We have a end of season party to attend here in a few week, and that will wrap up everything. Next year chase will be playing on the freshman,an highschool team which will be an adventure so Ive heard..

Kinda sad this is over with already, well let me say sad and a bit relieved only because I'm gonna miss the excitement of them playing, but relived that i don't have to worry about him being hurt any more..

We now are moving into Basketball so here comes a whole new schedule, and yet another contact sport..

3rd annual Bella Bash

ummm yes, that is Miss Melinda Doolittle that i am posing with from American Idol and i was also excited to be so close to another American Idol star, Mr Danny Gokey! amongst Nationally Syndicated radio personality Delilah, Comedian Henry Cho, Mr Russ Taff, Tim Akers and Bruce Carroll..all were gathered together tonight at the Loveless Cafe Barn for an amazing Benefit called the Bella Bash.

This was an event i will never forget! this was to help start a new center for children who are misdiagnosed with Autism who really have a disorder called Angelman Syndrome.

This amazingly beautiful little girl named Isabella Hamm is a patient where i work and i have been honored to have met her several times as with her two wonderful parents. In 2003 Yolanda and Regi (Bella's parents) flew to China and Adopted there first child. They were unaware that she was born with a rare genetic disorder known as Angel Syndrome. She is missing a tiny piece of her 15th maternal chromosome, and as a result Isabella cant speak,bathe herself or respond to most verbal commands. She needs 24 hour monitoring to be able to function.

This year they formed the angel wings foundation. This foundation exists to provide therapy and support to real people struggling with some profoundly challenging mental disabilities

Tonight was a celebration of joy and hope. And not only myself but my entire office staff was invited to attend this life changing evening! There were alot of tears shed tonight, alot of praying and laughter...again, i will never forget what I witnessed tonight and learned about this horrific disease that we not aware even existed...and also that God is in control! He trusted Yolanda and Regi with this wonderful daughter for a reason...

Bethesda Elementry Fall Fest 2010

Here we are another year of Fall fest activities at Kyles school.

This has a been something we have taken part in since we have moved here..It started when chase was attending this school and now kyle.

This year was a little more fun because kyle actually has come out of his shell and is very verbal with his words and definitely not as shy as in the past..

There were hay rides, face painting, cans of color hair spray, giant slides,petting zoo, Inflatable jumps and lots more!

Chase was there somewhere..hanging out with a big group of Friends..so we really didn't see him from the second we arrived until the end....Hmmmm..typical teenager i suppose..

Anyhow, we ended the night with a delightful purchase of homemade peanut butter balls that were simply Divine!

Master of the pasture

OK, so little story behind this photo..


Ever since we have moved here and i started a full time job i have traveled the same road EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past 5 years...and EVERY SINGLE DAY I pass this gorgeous peace of land (basically a farm land) now you have to try to picture this scene in your mind to reap the full benefit of it..

All you see is acers and acers of green grass where there are maybe 20-30 horse's of all different color's and even one that just might be the" Black Stallion" and there in the midst of these beautiful horses, mom's and babies just roaming the field is what I call The MASTER of the Pasture which is whom is in this picture. He will some days be laying smack dab in the middle of all this or just out there on his own just watching all the cars go by. Don't matter what mood I'm in or what crazy thing is going on in my life i can pass this animal and just a peek at him makes me smile..he is always so calm and just plain beautiful;!! i have tried on several occasion's to get a picture of him..and with luck being on my side today..there He was out there all alone..so i swung into there driveway and just was dazed by him..i got out of My car and just stood there...all i could think was WOW this is so cool i wish i could take him home..but instead i took his picture and went on my way...So that's it just a little picture of the scenery i am pleasured by 5 days a week....I'm hoping i get to see him tomorrow morning...just another great way too start my day!

Ham Festival, Nah, Mall, maybe..halloween tent, YES

OK, yes I said Ham festival..sounds pretty country huh?

Today I was lucky enough to spend the day with kyle as Mike and Chase went to scout he next football team we play with his coach and another player..

So Early afternoon kyle and split to the festivities for a bit..here are a few of his favorite pics from the day., a giant turtle and camel..as you can see there are not alot of highlights to this event..so we speed off to the mall were we shopped a bit, had lunch and then we spotted the enormous Halloween tent out IN the parking lot as we were about to exit the mall...so we spun around and that my friend is were we found the perfect costume for kyle...stay posted for pictures later..
