Did some body say FOOTBALL!!!

So, we have now lived in Tennessee for almost 5 years and have always heard people talking about playing football for the Cowboys. The Franklin Cowboys are a pretty big deal here and to confess we have missed sign ups every year either due to getting the information to late or Basketball (which Chase has been involved in since the first week of us moving here) interfering with a football schedule..Well, not this year..Chase is now part of the team for the Cowboys! We are so excited!! Today after work kyle and i met up with chase and mike at practice.

Chase is real good about wanting to stay active on some sort of sport team. Basketball I think is his true gift. We get such pleasure out of watching him play the way he just glides down the court..so with school aproaching soon we look forward to him getting back on the middle school team.

and a little side note* any one who knows me, knows I am a Kenny Chesney fan* well , let me just add that a few years ago Kenny did a video with the Cowboys on the Field we play on ...AND are you ready..(giggle) Chases coach..very much resembles Kenny Chesney..(from a distance) HA...so much for watching football Huh?

On a more serious note..we are very proud parents of a Franklin Cowboy and intend on cheering him and his team on every Saturday!

GOOOO COWBOY"S!!!!

Day Two of the Cowboys practice..

Wheweee..was it a hot one today. I must admit i felt as little guilty drinking my nice Venti Iced Coffee from Starbucks as i sit on the side line watching these boys run there little heart out..then I sat back and smiled and said oh well cant let it go to waste..I do believe next time i need to be a little more discrete LOL

Yeah that's right...im cute..so what

Ha...Today was the second day of Football practice for Chase. Kyle and I decided to tag along and take some fun pictures of him, little did we know there was so much pretty scenery around the Field not to mention this very cool rock garden that we kinda got carried away with this one particular rock..We had so much fun!

Sloane and Jennifer Visit Tennessee

Few Picks from a great visit

Chase..Look how handsome he is, even doing yard work LOL

Happy Birthday Kyle

Today we celebrated Kyles 8th Birthday! wow its so hard to believe hes already at that age.

Kyles gift this year can tell you just how much he is changing. Xbox 360 was the gift of choice. This will be the first year that he has not received a "toy". I however being the "mom" still look at him as if he were still 3. He is the "baby" in my house..

Kyle is going into 3rd grade here in a few weeks ..and is considering trying out for the basketball team..we are encouraging him to do just that...

Kyle is such a wonderful little boy just full of life and lots of questions..there is not a day that goes by that Mike and I don't thank God for blessing our family the way he has and continues to do.
