Day 4...

Well on day 4 they put partial pads on...Friday is Full pads and chase will be number 85...Coach said be prepared to hit and expect to get hurt..( GREAT)...
So Big dinner and good nights sleep.....Chase is in the blue sleeveless under armour and white pants...

Day 2 Of Football Tryouts..

Day two of Football went very well! A bit Hot out...
basically did more calisthenics except times 4 of what they did yesterday..they all certainly get a awesome work out out of this!
Well I was able to sneak a quick picture today of chase without everyone seeing...they will not let us out on the field right now, which is kinda a bummer but we understand. I'm sure its already distracting with Kyle doing handstand push ups in the tennis court and climbing the fence to the top...golly no reminder there that he's a boy...usually he takes his army men and plays in the dirt...

First day of Foot Ball Tryouts...

Wow..day one of Football tryouts has ended...What a work out they all had to go through! I must say I was very impressed they way the team was handled and Chase did excellent at keeping up with what was expected of him. Today basically consisted of getting lockers and helmet's and LOTS AND LOTS of calisthenics...good thing chase was prepped at home. It;s not easy I'm sure having a helmet on in 95 degree heat and running full force. I am so proud of him..And believe it or not he wants to go back tomorrow...Kyle And I hung out at the gate the whole practice, I was not about to miss such an important day! When the Gym doors opened and the players entered the field I must ad mitt I was a little star struck with him in his helmet and pretending not to see me as he walked by the car with the rest of the team...I then realized my little Chase Monster has grown up so fast and now heading into some of the best years of his life. I'm so pumped up for this!!! Tomorrow is full pads and is scheduled to be 100 degrees yikes ...but i have all the faith in the world in chase and I just have such a great feeling about this whole thing..only 6 player's will make this team and I really think Chase will be one of them!!

How we celebrated Kyles Birthday

We started the day at Franklin bowling alley..(kyle's choice) where we played 3 games of bowling and then proceeded to head to the video game room and played until we ran out of token's.

After all that hard play we all acquired a hefty appetite. Kyles choice for lunch was pizza. We all headed to cicis pizza place and devoured the pizza bar and of course dessert bar as well...lots of fun!!!

Little brother keeping up with older brother..

Any one who knows Kyle's character realizes that him trying to do EVERYTHING that his older brother does and succeeding is an understatement!! The book titled "Brave at Heart" by John Eldridge I swear was written in mind of boys like Kyle......He is 100% Boy! Mom's of little boys I highly recommend this book to you for your own sanity. So you can understand that him wanting to jump off the highest point in your house is completely in his nature and how God made him to be...

Thankfully He is a follower of a wonderful young man (chase)....I'm so lucky ..We are looking at the next quarterback for Tennesee middle school in the year 2013..Yikes

Count down to Football tryouts!!!!!

Okay the count has begun!!! chase has exactly to weeks left to condition himself for football practice...

His sport Physical is Wednesday...and well he is not looking forward to that.....

Dont Blink....

Today when I got Kyle up for camp I just stood over him and watched him sleep.
I usually do this to both kids before I wake them so that is not unusual.
But today I was rem mined that all the little things that happen through out our day they
are all so precious and sometimes taken for granted. I love my kids with all my heart.
Chase is growing up so fast! sometimes i sit back and wonder where did the time go. He is approaching 12 years of age here soon and my gosh 12 years...It sure don't seem that long ago.
Kyle turns 6 here on Friday and it sure brings back memories. I was holding my nephew a few weeks ago and it was really hard to remember either one of my kids being that small..why is that? I guess our lives take over with of the other duties in our lives that we just take those moments for granted...so everyone with small children, soak up every minute with them. These years come and go in the blink of an eye....so all those little conversation's your toddler wants to share with you and you are starting dinner, turn that dinner down to simmer, grab his little hand and soak it up!

Nice surprise in the mail

Okay...so today I'm slaving away in house work and all of sudden here comes the mail man...thinking i would just be adding to our bill to file, much to my surprise was a package for me...(oh goodie)

My Mother and Father in law sent me a this nice book and a Target gift card..now how did they know that was the perfect gift???

Okay a few day's ago we were awakened with the drums from rock band and now we have moved on to riding bikes at 7:00 in the morning...ahhhh that's all good stuff!!!

Day at the pool...

This is a blast for us to go to..Its Sunday afternoon and 90 degrees her in middle Tennessee...so what better way to stay cool then a day spent at the local recreation center...This place is a lot of fun...for me to. I can just hang out at the side of pool and soak up the raise while the boys swim..

Its All Good Stuff!!

Happy 4th of July!!! Last night we had our own fire works display along with a bonfire which cooked yummy marshmallow's for us to consume....they were fabulous!!!








Today we surprised both boys with a much deserving gift of new bikes!!! they have both been exceptionally well behaved over this summer we wanted to reward them !!!!

Needless to say they are very excited!!!

Next on the list are new bikes for Mom and Dad...wont that be fun!!!!

Ummmmm yeah it my birthday....

Did somebody say BIRTHDAY???

Yes to all that know me well...understand that when July 2nd comes around I am to be princess of the day and it has to be all about me....HAHA. Seriously I love it when my birthday arrives every year..Today I turned 36...(years young)

My birthday celebration started yesterday when Mike brought home some gorgeous flowers and a funny card..chase and kyle greeted me with a very sweet card followed by a big hug kiss and happy birthday mommy. Also Mike said to be expecting something in the mail any day...with that said I've basically been stalking the mail man..

Also to make this day extra special my little nephew typed a very cute note and taped it to his chest for a very cute photo..so to him I love you!!! that was awesome..xoxo.
