Well...Its Tuesday after the final tryout's and cuts for the rooster team have been posted on the middle school door..unfortunately this is not the year for chase...his name was not included on the team list. We are all bummed about that, but also know that Chase did his best and we are still very proud of him! He will tryout again next year and he will have an advantage to newer players because we now know what to expect...We all went up to the school together last night , and from there we went to get an ice cream and just let Chase take it all in with us...He is fine..a little mad but that's to be expected. We are of course here for him for encouragement, and it's important to us that he knows that.
Chase still wants to try out for the middle school basketball team in the Fall and we are talking about maybe running in track....

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Like you said he will have an advantage next year. I'm sure your just as upset about it as he is. It's gotta be hard as a parent to see your kids upset. Especially when you can't do anything to fix it. Tell him to keep his chin up......he'll be playing football before he knows it!!
