Well, here I am unloading the dish washer for the third time today.which is not abnormal here...and as i look out the front window i see Mike, Chase and Kyle playing football ,not that i haven't seen this a million times before, but for some reason today it was different for me.
My brother turned 35 today and when i called to wish him happy Birhtday i assumed he was 36...he laughs of course and so did i when he corrected me ...i added a year on to his life and well i guess me to. That just goes to show ya that we all get So wrapped up in all our busy life's with work, school, sports and just the craziness of life that before you know It its been a year gone by...and that's OK..as long as we all know that we love each other and are here for one another..
Mike, I and the kids have lived here for almost 5 years now..Wow !! We have lived at 3 different addresses & for myself have had 2 different employers..i think we are still trying to find where we fit here.
I have a full time job working for a integrative physician at a local doctors office. Ive been back to work now full time for 4 years now..actually almost 5. It was tough in the beginning. Before moving to Tennessee i was a home maker.
Mike is still doing what he does best....Woodworking.
Chase is now in his last year of middle school..now how the heck did that happen so fast? he has finally hit puberty..has a dark mustache filling in and his voice has deepened..next year about this time he will be driving..WOW!! that was weird to type. He is playing Varsity Football and has plans on playing basketball for his school team this November.. I love that he is so involved in sports.
Kyle has blossomed alot this past year as well..he will for sure be taller then me..and a great athlete when he decides to commit to a team..He just started 3rd grade and is doing very well..he is still in program where he gets extra one on one help each school day and that has completely done wonders for him! If anything great has come out of us moving to Tennessee its the school system...much more advanced then where we came from.
A typical week here for us is waking at 4:30am getting the kids off to school, working 8 to 11 hour days. Mike Gets chase to football practice 3 times per week and don't get home until 8:15 and that's when homework is started and dinner is eaten...I get out of work and head to get Kyle by 6pm..then home to finish homework..which by the way is way to ridiculous for 3rd grade..unload the washer to the dryer to wash yet another load..and same with the dishwasher..then watching the clock so i have dinner done At he exact time when i hear mikes van pull up..at that point we all Rush to eat and get ready for the next day of doing it all over again...and i love it!
And thast my life right now at age 38! would I Change one thing about it? NO WAY
